Created in 2019, Fenty Headstrong was part of a special collection of 25 silverpoint works exhibited during Essence Music Festival’s 25th anniversary in New Orleans. This piece, showcasing the meticulous detail of silverpoint against a striking ultra-matte black acrylic background, was featured in collaboration with Arts New Orleans. Later that year, it was included in the New Orleans African American Museum’s inaugural Afrofuturism exhibition, further cementing its place within a visionary exploration of Black identity and artistic innovation.
