Cyn Silva is a contemporary painter whose work bridges classical training with expressive modern vision. Born in Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area but now based in Scottsdale, Arizona, she is recognized for large-scale works that reinterpret iconic landscapes through dynamic composition and unexpected color palettes.

Painting both en plein air and in the studio, Silva captures the atmospheric intensity of a place and transforms it into immersive canvases that explore light, movement, and spiritual presence. Her work balances structure and emotion, realism and abstraction, creating tension that invites prolonged viewing.

Silva studied under Carmel artist D. D’Ovalle and attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are held in private collections and luxury estates nationally and internationally.

Her work continues to evolve as a bold reexamination of the American landscape, rooted in tradition, yet unapologetically contemporary.
